A importância do estudo da discalculia em cursos de formação de professores

The learning disability is still a reality present in the context of school, especially with regard to the discipline of mathematics. In this sense, it is need to have a perception that this difficulty can be a disorder of learning and the knowledge that will be possible to identify it. This work has with the objective of investigating, through exploratory methodology, the knowledge and perception of 6th grade elementary school teachers in the municipal network of Macaé with regard to dyscalculia, in addition to analyzing the curricular matrix of undergraduate mathematics, from public and private institutions in higher education with the aim of find out if dyscalculia contemplates, in any way, the curriculum of future teachers. The study presents, by means of bibliographic survey, the conceptualization, as characteristics, as essential psycho-pedagogical methodologies on dyscalculia and possible goals for inclusion in the classroom. It is expected that this research can foster the importance of training future teachers in the face of dyscalculia, but also to understand a construction in the development of a work with discalclic students, so you can make so much progress in learning school and self-esteem.
